I was always around there grabbing a coffee at my lunch time as I love it. One of these days I decided to treat myself with a nice sandwich and honestly, it looked lovely and tasty and I was really enjoying it. Suddenly, I found a not very pleasant surprise in my sandwich and unbelievably, I was not believing in what my eyes were seeing. No, it was not a hair and no, I am not a fussy person nor picky. It was worse than hair if I am honest. I immediately handed it back to the staff and showed it to them. They offered me another sandwich but how could I have another one?
I just left and honestly I do feel really sorry that I have to report it here. I believe that it’s a serious case and even a question of poor hygiene and risk of public health as well.
Unfortunately, I would never come back.

Response from the owner

I am still in shock at how the owner spoke to my friends and I at lunchtime today, using the F word on numerous occasions in the one sentence! We are all ladies in our 60s meeting for a coffee /tea/ soft drink and cake. Totally uncalled for - I will never return and have since heard that she has a reputation for being rude. It really ruined what was to be a lovely meet up with friends. I have honestly never experienced anything like this ever before. Plenty of other places to go in our lovely town and cakes and selection of teas very limited here anyhow - chairs and tables bockety and very uncomfortable- skip it and support all the other lovely friendly traders in town. Giving zero stars - no redeeming qualities!

Very poor customer service. Will never go back.
Customer service felt noticeably inconsistent during my visit. While other customers were met with warmth and engagement, my interaction felt significantly less attentive and welcoming. It impacted the overall experience, and I wouldn’t return.
